The first look of the series was unveiled on 21 December 2021. The story touches upon contemporary issues and it's all quite relatable. Raees (Hala's uncle) plans to get Hala married to his employee Naveed, who is a stupid man. She was in love with her best friend's cousin Khurram but because of Shah Jahan (Hala's Aunt), their relationship breaks. Her uncle feeds her father false stories about her and never lets her talk to her father. She grows up to be a subdued teenager who is always harassed. Adored by Nafees and then abandoned, Hala is mistreated by her father's brother, Raees and Jalees and their wives, ShahJahan and Sophia. Hala is left by her father, Nafees in Pakistan because his new wife does not want to raise his daughter from his previous marriage.
